Apples in the Morning. Lost in Corn by Four.
Two farms and lunch in between. You pick your own apples and pumpkins at Green's in Elysburg, eat on Mill Street in Danville, then spend the afternoon in a seven-acre corn maze outside Milton. There is a pumpkin slingshot. You will use it.
Friday or Saturday only, and it is seasonal. Green's u-pick ends Oct 24 and is closed Sundays. Kohl's maze runs through Nov 8. Green's at 10, lunch at 12:30, Kohl's by 2. Sunday. Green's is closed. Doing it backwards, because Green's closes at 5. Kulpmont Wine Fest the same day unless someone else drives.
3 stops
Green's Fruit Farm
You pick your own apples and pumpkins. Bring a bag if you want, or they will sell you one. The wagon has no posted times, so check their Facebook before you go. Plan on 10:00am–11:50am.
Old Forge Brewing Company
Farm-sourced food. You just picked the farm part. It sits right on the way north. Plan on 12:30pm–1:40pm. Rough estimate, not map-checked.
Kohl's Stony Hill Tree Farm
Get lost in the maze, then fire a pumpkin out of a slingshot. The hayride over a covered bridge is not a sure thing, so call 570-437-3442 first. They hold a Guinness record for tree stands. You can look at it. Plan on 2:00pm–6:30pm. Rough estimate, not map-checked.
