Joseph Priestley House
He isolated oxygen here. Weekend tours only, March through mid-November, about $8. Weekday backup: Samek Downtown in Lewisburg. Plan on 1:30pm–2:45pm. Danville to Northumberland about 20 minutes down the river.
Shikellamy State Park
Drive up. Three overlooks, about 360 feet over where the branches meet. Free. An hour before sunset is the move. Plan on 3:15pm–4:45pm. Priestley to overlook about 10-15 minutes. Go for the overlook section, not the marina, for this trip.
